  • Depending on the kind of GPSr (the "r" means receiver and is usually left off when people talk about GSP's,) he had and how well he knew how to use it, the usefulness of one varies. GPSr's only take information from satellites to tell you your location. These units do not generate a signal.

  • No, NOT "15 minutes of fame" - with the internet, it is forever. Islam believes that the Qur'an is the literal word of God, and disrespect to it is disrespect to God. Somewhat different from burning a flag, which is a secular object.
